The non-smartphone users among DiGi customers will enjoy the full mobile Internet experience at a faster and cheaper rate through the DiGi-Opera Mini browser, which was launched yesterday.
Opera Mini

The advantages of the public version of the Opera Mini browser still apply to the DiGi-Opera Mini version. Its compression technology of up to 90% creates a faster surfing experience, including for those who own EDGE-enabled mobile phones. DiGi customers will enjoy much faster browsing speed than other native mobile phone browsers. By using the DiGi co-branded Opera Mini browser, customers are free from mobile Internet charges when surfing DiGi sites, generating substantial cost savings for the total browsing experience compared to using other browsing platforms.

Praveen Rajan, Head of Mobile Internet & Advanced Data Services for DiGi, explains, “DiGi has over 4.2 million Internet users for both small and big screens, and we foresee demand to escalate as more devices and data plans become more affordable. Our initiative to co-brand this well-regarded web browser is one of our key stepping stones to help propagate the mobile Internet habit among both existing and new customers."

“Over 90% of mobile phone owners in Malaysia are non-smartphone users, and they deserve to enjoy the full mobile surfing experience as their counterparts. DiGi is geared to deliver a richer mobile Internet experience to this market segment, supported by the most affordable data plans available – a direction that fulfills our ambition to deliver the Internet for all.”

Sean D’Arcy, Director of Partner Marketing & Management for Opera Software adds, “This marks an important step of Opera’s strategy in Asia. Malaysian consumers are becoming more discerning and demand the best mobile browsing experience when on the go."

“Our partnership with DiGi is the first operator-branded Opera Mini browser in Malaysia, and this gives DiGi customers the advantages of a great surfing experience that is faster and cheaper than any browser currently in the market. Those with high-end phones will still benefit from Opera Mini’s compression and caching technology as it results in a faster surfing experience and minimal wait time.”

Tempoh Kursus Diploma Bukan Teknikal Di Politeknik Dipendekkan

Tempoh Kursus Diploma Bukan Teknikal Di Politeknik Dipendekkan

Elektrik Masih Percuma Bagi Bil Bulanan Kurang Dari RM20

Elektrik Masih Percuma Bagi Bil Bulanan Kurang Dari RM20
