Is it possible to charge the battery using a USB port on the computer?
Question:
Charging the battery using a USB port on the computer.
Answer:
Yes, it is possible. Using AAA Nickel hydride rechargeable battery, the battery will be charged when the IC recorder is connected to the computer.
However, even though the computer is turned on, you cannot charge the batteries while your computer is in the sleep, standby or hibernation mode. In such cases, change the settings on your computer so that your computer will not go into sleep, standby or hibernation mode.
This is an approximate time it takes to charge from an empty battery power to a fully battery power at room temperature. It varies depending on the remaining power and the condition of the battery. It also takes more time if the temperature of the battery is low, or if the battery is charged while you are transferring data to the IC recorder.
Notes
In case USB CHARGE in the DETAIL MENU is set to OFF, the battery will not be charged even though the IC recorder is connected to the computer.
While HOT or COLD is being displayed on the display window, the batteries cannot be charged. Charge the battery in an environment with a temperature range between 5 Celsius degree to 35 Celsius degree.
