Donovan McNabb Once Philadelphia Eagles

Donovan Jamal McNabb (born November 25, 1976) is an American football quarterback who is currently on waivers. He was the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback from 1999 to 2009 and spent the 2010 season with the Washington Redskins and a portion of the 2011 season with the Minnesota Vikings. In college, Donovan McNabb played football and basketball for Syracuse University. The Eagles selected him as the second overall pick of the 1999 NFL Draft.

Donovan McNabb led the Eagles to four consecutive NFC East division championships (2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004), five NFC Championship Games (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2008), and one Super Bowl (Super Bowl XXXIX, in which the Philadelphia Eagles were defeated by the New England Patriots). Perhaps his most memorable play has become known as "4th and 26", which took place against the Green Bay Packers in the final minutes of a 2003 NFC Divisional playoff game.

Career history
Philadelphia Eagles (1999–2009)
Washington Redskins (2010)
Minnesota Vikings (2011)

He is the Philadelphia Eagles' all-time leader in career wins, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.

Per Donovan McNabb's request, the Minnesota Vikings released Donovan McNabb. Will he return to his hometown Chicago and play for the Bears? Or perhaps the Colts who are on cruise control for 0-16?

The Washington Redskins received two 6th round picks for Donovan McNabb, one of which is conditional. Still a steal!

The Philadelphia Eagles made their worst case yet on Dec. 1 for Andy Reid to keep his job much longer. But perhaps it was fitting that the Philadelphia Eagle suffered a 31-14 defeat to the Seattle Seahawks on that day, hours after Donovan McNabb suffered the latest blow to his career. Philadelphia Eagle fans should link Reid and Donovan McNabb together forever - especially now that the end is so near for both of them.

When Donovan McNabb was traded and the Eagles eventually had Michael Vick in place to replace him, it looked like Reid got the better end of the breakup and would last a lot longer. Donovan McNabb certainly doesn't seem to have many more days ahead, after he got traded by the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings then released him on Dec. 1.
